Presenting a full album listen of Yours Sincerely by Haruomi Hosono. Across his career, Hosono has moved through folk, city pop, exotica, ambient, and electronic music with a singular sense of curiosity and restraint. As a founding member of Happy End and Yellow Magic Orchestra, he helped define major shifts in Japanese popular music while leaving a long shadow across synth-pop, techno, hip-hop, and contemporary independent music.
Yours Sincerely arrives as a new chapter from an artist whose catalog continues to be rediscovered, sampled, and reframed by all generations of listeners. This session invites attention to Hosono’s language of detail: melodic economy, dry humor, soft electronics, and the quiet confidence of an artist still following sound wherever it leads. The audience will experience the album in full, uninterrupted, on the Mono Space soundstage.
