Program Description
Mono Space presents an album listening session of The MerKaBa Brotherhood’s debut album, upcoming release on Mississippi Records. Roman Norfleet and Andre Raiah will guide listeners through their new album with a brief slideshow to provide visual context. This session will invite sonic contemplation, offering a space to engage with rhythm, tone, and vibration in a unique, intentional listening experience.

About the MerKaBa Brotherhood
The MerKaBa Brotherhood is Roman Norfleet (Be Present Art Group, The Cosmic Tones Research Trio and Andre Raiah (Brown Calvin of Brown Calculus, Be Present Art Group). They create atmospheric, improvisational music inspired by mysticism, sacred geometry, and esoteric themes, bringing the insights of ancient spiritual research into contemporary sound. Their self-titled album blends electronic and acoustic textures, using rhythm, tone, and vibration to explore timeless spiritual and geometric concepts in a unique, contemplative style.
The Listening Experience
This program is part of Mono Space’s intentional listening series, a seated, focused format centered around the OJAS hi-fi sound system. Sessions last 60 to 90 minutes, with 30 minutes of open listening before and after. Up to 50 guests gather in a shared setting to experience curated recordings, guided by a host who offers context and reflections as the music unfolds. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available for purchase. Phones and cameras are set aside to support attention and presence.
