Program Description
Mono Space hosts a monthly Saturday program for curious listeners and readers alike. Guests are welcomed into the gallery to experience our sound system, gift shop, record archive, and library from 11am to 5pm. Each Gallery Hours is centered around a thematic soundtrack drawn from our collection, punctuated by special sets with guest selectors.

The sunset beach vibes of August’s Gallery Hours will transport listeners to the Balearic Islands, where the mixture of global and electronic rhythms, chill-out energy, and beatless ambiance remade the sound of clubbing. At 2pm, Mr. Drew, proprietor of Portland’s Passenger Seat Records, will play a set of classic and contemporary Balearic anthems from the shop and his personal collection.
