Mono Space presents two Album Listening Sessions of Frank Ocean's Channel Orange with Free Oribhabor and The Record Club. Upon its release, the album received widespread critical acclaim for its unconventional musical, lyrical, and recording approaches. After much anticipation the album was released on vinyl in June 2025 and will be played in its entirety on the OJAS sound system.

About Free Oribhabor and The Record Club
Free Oribhabor is an LA based artist and DJ. He is also host and creator of the event series The Record Club, a bi-coastal communal listening event series exploring classic albums and the rich stories behind them, “The theater for the album.” The Record Club centers on a single album, played in full, accompanied by a deep-dive presentation exploring its creation, cultural meaning, and lasting legacy.
The Listening Experience
Album Listening Sessions offer a dedicated setting to hear a record in its entirety through the OJAS high fidelity sound system. Up to 50 guests gather in a shared setting to experience a full album together, introduced and closed by a presenter who offers context and reflections around the music. Sessions last 60 to 90 minutes, with 30 minutes of open listening afterward. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available for purchase. The room is arranged for focused, shared listening as the record plays. Details about visiting the space can be found in the FAQs.
