Program Description
Mono Space hosts a monthly Saturday program for curious listeners and readers alike. Guests are welcomed into the gallery to experience our sound system, gift shop, record archive, and library from 11am to 5pm. Each Gallery Hours is centered around a thematic soundtrack drawn from our collection, punctuated by special sets with guest selectors.
The soundtrack of the summer’s second Gallery Hours will feature a range of quiet storm classics, steppers grooves, UK Soul essentials, and contemporary gems.

At 2pm, the sound system will be taken over by YÚCO, a Portland-based DJ with Puerto Rican roots, and his own Latinx-infused take on street soul.
YÚCO is a Portland based graphic designer and DJ. He pulls musical inspiration from his roots in Puerto Rico, translating into sets playing a range of feel-good jazz, funk, soul, house, and Salsa.
