About SeasideFM
SeasideFM (she/her) is a DJ and curator specializing in Japanese jazz, city pop, and jazz fusion. Over the past decade, what began as casual record digging evolved into a deep commitment to the genres — collecting rare recordings, exploring overlooked artists, and immersing herself in the warmth, sophistication, and emotional depth that define the music. Her sets weave together breezy city pop melodies, expressive jazz, and groove-heavy fusion. At the center of her work is a desire to share the music that has shaped her listening life with a wider audience. Through thoughtful selections, SeasideFM creates listening environments that feel nostalgic, transportive, and timeless — like stepping into another place and era for a little while. Balancing familiar classics with rare discoveries, her sets are rooted in a deep respect for the artistry behind the records.
The Listening Experience
Gallery Hours are free and open to the public. Held on Saturdays from 12 to 5 pm, they offer an open way to experience Mono Space and the OJAS high fidelity sound system. Guests are welcome to arrive at any point to spend time with the system, browse the library and gift shop, grab some tea, and listen to a rotating selection of curated recordings, seated or moving through the space as they like. Gallery Hours are held as a quiet, shared listening environment. Details about visiting the space can be found in the FAQs.
