About Bryson Wallace

Bryson Wallace is a vinyl DJ and artist originally from Bakersfield, California. For just over five years now, he has been providing eclectic sounds of jazz and soul to the Pacific Northwest through his DJ sets and “Positive Vibrations”, his daily show on Portland’s KMHD Jazz Radio.

Bryson was introduced to high fidelity audio and hearing music on vinyl as a young child, experiences which would so profoundly influence him that he would begin DJing in public by age 13 and set him on a lifelong trajectory of discovering and presenting records. His current practice is grounded in his love for community, and a desire to use his various music platforms as points of education, exploration, and engagement for people.
