Mono Space presents Gallery Hours, curated by Geoff Zagarola of Music History. Known for his eclectic but highly curated selection, Geoff plans to bring a diverse curation of music from around the world, spanning Shoegaze to R&B. Each selection highlights its historical significance within its respective scene, while also standing as compelling, high-quality music in its own right.
About Geoff Zagarola
Geoff Zagarola is a local DJ & the owner of the NE Portland record store Music History. Donned a “music archeologist” by KMHD DJ Bryson Wallace, Geoff has been traveling the world since his early 20s in search of unearthed musical gems, new & old, from Istanbul to Tokyo. Geoff brings these international sensibilities to his shop Music History and the local music scene.
The Listening Experience
Gallery Hours are free and open to the public. Held on Saturdays from 12 to 5 pm, they offer an open way to experience Mono Space and the OJAS high fidelity sound system. Guests are welcome to arrive at any point to spend time with the system, browse the library and gift shop, grab some tea, and listen to a rotating selection of curated recordings, seated or moving through the space as they like. Gallery Hours are held as a quiet, shared listening environment. Details about visiting the space can be found in the FAQs.
