Program Description

Patricia Wolf curates Gallery Hours at Mono Space. From Maurice Ravel to Ryuichi Sakamoto, Hildegard Westerkamp to Roméo Poirier, Mel Bonis to Elizabeth Maconchy, Patricia Wolf takes you on an intimate tour through the music that moves and inspires her. Spanning many genres, time periods, and species, this Saturday of listening offers a dynamic adventure through the heart and mind.

 

 

About Patricia Wolf

Patricia is a musician, sound designer, and field recordist based in Portland, Oregon. Her work bridges the natural and modern worlds, integrating ecological sources into minimalist electronic compositions. Through melody and repetition, she draws listeners into hypnotic inner spaces, conjuring vivid textures and atmospheres charged with emotion.

Wolf’s debut album, I’ll Look For You In Others, was released in February 2022 on Past Inside The Present, followed by her second LP,See-Through, on the Catalan label Balmat. In June 2024, she released The Secret Lives of Birds on the UK-based label Nite Hive. That same year, Wolf created the soundtrack, sound design, and mixing for Edward Pack Davee’s feature-length film Hrafnamynd, the accompanying soundtrack was released on Balmat in July 2025. Her new album, Yarrow, will be released on Music To Watch Seeds Grow By on June 4, 2026.

The Listening Experience

Gallery Hours are free and open to the public. Held on Saturdays from 12 to 5 pm, they offer an open way to experience Mono Space and the OJAS high fidelity sound system. Guests are welcome to arrive at any point to spend time with the system, browse the library and gift shop, grab some tea, and listen to a rotating selection of curated recordings, seated or moving through the space as they like.
