SELECTIONS NO. 3
Bijan Berahimi

Intentional Listening

The third Selections program sees Bijan Berahimi extending the curatorial work for his recent Eyes & Ears exhibitions to Mono Space, but this time turning the focus on himself and his involvement with music through design, visual language, and the making of physical artifacts. Across an arc of selected recordings, Bijan will chart a course from his Iranian-American upbringing in Los Angeles to his studies at CalArts to a professional practice that has found him in creative collaboration with the likes of Kaytranada, Aminé, Toro y Moi, and Paramore.

In 2025, the graphic designer, curator, and founder of FISK (a multi-faceted creative studio), organized Eyes & Ears: A Survey of Visuals in Music 2020-2024 at the Pacific Northwest College of Art and Eyes and Ears: Barn Radio, Werk-in-Progress at W+K Portland.
