SPIRIT OF EDEN, TALK TALK

On February 18th, Mono Space presented an Album Listening Session with DJ and winemaker Scott Frank, diving into The Spirit of Eden by Talk Talk. As one of the group’s final two albums, it stands as a work of remarkable originality and influence, while offering some of the finest high fidelity recording quality of its era.

The collaboration between the band, producer Tim Friese-Greene, and engineer Phil Brown resulted in something rare: a record that feels as though it’s unfolding inside your own head. Its emotional depth and organic sound create a listening experience that’s intimate, immersive, and quietly transporting. The session offered a rare chance to hear the album as it was meant to be heard, in full and in detail.
